Just
Turned The Big 21!!!!!!
Hey Guys! So if you couldn’t already tell from the pretty
obvious title, I FINALLY TURNED 21! Yes, one of the big days of my life just
happened over last week. The day started out really great, I got to wake up to
another day, with the sun shining and a bright blue sky. Unfortunately I did
have classes (which is to be expected if your birthday usually falls at the
time right after the Thanksgiving Break), but that didn’t bother me. I guess it
must have been the fact that my Monday schedule is pretty relaxed only having
two classes. Besides, it was what would be happening after my classes were done
that was helping me get by.

Throughout the day my phone was buzzing non-stop with the
Birthday wishes and Birthday notifications on Facebook. I guess I should give
thanks to Facebook, whom without no body would know when my birthday is lol.
After my classes were done, I got to relax at my apartment as I waited for my
parents to pick me up and take me out to eat at one of my favorite
restaurants…. OUTBACK STEAK HOUSE!!!! YUM!!!! As we were shown to our table, I
was excited to order my first LEGAL alcoholic drink! I ordered a Coors Light
beer. After we finished our dinner it was time for the best part at Outback,
the dessert. There is this one dessert that I am just head over heels in love
with, and it’s called Thunder From Down Under. Straight from the oven, it’s a warm
brownie filled with fudge, accompanied with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream
and then topped with whipped cream. Also it’s complimented with chocolate
syrup! It’s heaven, and I really recommend that everyone should try it.
After Outback my parents drove me back to my apartment, where
I celebrated with my roommates and some of our neighbors. My parents, again, surprised
me with balloons when they dropped me off, which I absolutely loved. My friend
Erin helped light the candles on my birthday cake and my boyfriend Asa took
some photos of the event. I can’t tell you what I wished for but I really hope
it comes true.
My birthday was great and I was really thankful for
everything and everyone. It made turning 21 just that much better to me. I can’t believe I am 21. I’m growing up
so fast. Soon enough I will be done with college and out in the real world
battling all the real world problems. But until then, I am just going to kick
back and enjoy the time I have until then.
