Shopaholic Me :)
Hi My Name Is Tamara Moran and I am A Shopaholic!
All of my friends know that I am a shopaholic. I may LOVE to shop for clothes, but I do the MOST damage to my credit card at Micheal's!!!!! OH YEAH!!!!
You know you shop at Micheal's a lot when the cashiers either say " What's the project this week?" or when they address you by your name, "Hey Tamara, what are you working on today?"..... Not sure if I should take it as a bad thing or a good thing LOL!
On this late trip to Micheal's, I went because I was having a pretty rough morning/ afternoon at home and needed something to clear my mind. The best way for me to clear my mind or release stress is to do arts and crafts. I just love doing art projects <3. Today's purchases at Micheal's were a black rectangular tray embedded with some gems, a bag of some silver and clear pebbles, a black picture frame and last of all a plain composite board/frame.
The black tray, black picture frame and the pebbles are a quick small project. No paint, no brushes, and no glue needed. In my college apartment bedroom, I have a window sill that already has some frames displayed nicely on it, but I wanted something more. So I thought of this cute little idea :) I took the bag of pebbles and spread them within the tray. After that I placed the black picture frame in the center of the tray, and had myself a cute little set up!!!! The only thing left to do with this project is to decide which two pictures of my cats I want in the frame, and then I have to go print them...so I guess it is better to say "the last 2 things I need to do" rather than "the last thing" hahaha.
The project I have planned with the composite board picture frame is a special dedication project for someone special. But I will post the finished product in another post, because I do not have all of the materials I need for it yet.
Well that is all I have for today, I hope maybe if anyone likes the first project, that you do it yourself for somewhere in your home :)
